Dwayne Wiebe comes first at YLGRC Sunshine while ELLIOT CATTON and DIANE RUDGE take the Overall Series Win!!!

The fourth and final stop took place at Sunshine Village this past Saturday giving out its last of the $20,000 Cash purse and $50,000 in prizing!! The weather made us all feel as though it was mid February with snow dumbing down and chilly temperatures. In the end it was Dwayne Wiebe who took first place with $2000 in his pocket, Tanner Davidson with $1000 and Jon Chew with $500 for the Coors Light Pro Mens. In the Coors Light Pro Women, it was Brooke Voight who took $500 being the only women in this category.

Elliot Catton and Diane Rudge were the Overall Series winners of the YLGRC10. They each took a 7 Day Surf Safari provided by Atlantic Riders and an additional 3 nights accommodation, a farewell dinner and an Algarve boat trip in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa provided by Algarve Promotions Bureau and the Pedralva Village. Congratulations Elliot and Diane!

At the end of the day, the afterparty took place at Wild Bills where everyone enjoyed a many Coors Light with DJs spinning and a great times!

Thanks everyone for joining the YLGRC10 and celebrating its sixth year as Canada's premier slopestyle series!!! From the riders, resorts, staff, spectators, to sponsors thanks for making this series the best it can be with your support and devotion!

Coors Light PRO Women's Winners

The Coors Light YOU LOOK GOOD Rider's Cup kicked started it series at Mont Tremblant today with more then 100 registered riders. The sunny but crisp day provided great conditions for the talent pool.

In the Coors Light PRO Men's category Simon Reid took the lead winning $2,000 and 10,000 Coors Light Points. Second place was Elliot Catton taking home $1,000 and 8,500 points , third went to Andrew Skelhorn winning $500 and 7,500 points.

In Coors Light Pro Women's category, first went to Diane Rudge winning $500 and 10,000 points to the Overall Series Prize. While in second place was Quebec's Tamara Truchon and New Zealand's Charlotte Trundle in third with $300 and $200 respectively.

Those winning in the Coors Light Pro Men's and Women's have accumulated points to be the Overall Series Winners. The overall series prize is a 7 day Surf Safari at Atlantic Riders with an additional 3 days accommodation, a farewell dinner and an Algarve boat trip in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa provided by the Algarve Promotions Bureau and Pedralva Village. And winning the Push.ca Slope-Side Host for Mont Tremblant was Sabrina Nash who took home a Bonfire Jacket, Salomon Snowboard and a Camp of Champions Prize Pack. Sabrina had the day to do some athlete interviews, commentary and to participate in the YLGRC10 Awards Ceremony!!

Atlantic Riders is awarding a 7 - day Surf Safari to the winners of the Coors Light Pro Women's AND Men's Open Category. The Male and Female winners will receive a 7 - day Surf Safari which includes surf instruction, accommodation, meals and equipment in Portugal!! Additional, the Algarve Promotions Bureau will be providing 3 nights accommodation in the Pedralva Village, a farewell dinner, and an Algarve Boat Trip in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa.

Overall series winners will be awarded their prize at the completion of the series at Sunshine Village, April 24th.
